It was a bright, sunny, and of course, a hot morning for the Volcano village. Junji quietly groaned to herself, tipping her lit cigarette around in between her lips. Both of her arms were crossed against her chest while her back leaned against a boulder within the rocky fields. As usual she wore her military attire, including her signature hat. At this point she's used to the heat this village compared to the high temperatures from her original home village. This whole damn country was hot as hell, but that didn't stop the woman from looking sharp for a first impression.

She was finally appointed to a genin squad after all these years of residing in this village while doing missions and mundane activities. Sure she was excited, but at the same time she felt a little weary about meeting her team. Well, technically she was meeting two people and the third genin was unknown, but that didn't stop her weariness. The woman could only hope she could shape them as one of the best shinobi this village has ever seen; after all, she's leading them and she takes immense pride in what she does, especially when it came to training those below her. That's why she requested them to meet here right here at this very spot.

Junji had managed to take a quick peek at their files to get a better idea of who she would be dealing with. The first person was Kishimaro Yuzachi who just graduated. He seemed like an obnoxious brat according to what he read, but was just a bubbling ray of sunshine who's always looks out for adventure. And oh boy, would she be annoyed at such a character. She doesn't exactly do "happiness" and deal with energetic people. They just straight up annoy her. A handsome young man he was, she'll admit. She'd just hope she doesn't have to smack him or even chuck a kunai.

The second person was a young woman named Kikyo Yuki who was the same age as Kishimaro. A Yuki? In Kazankagure? Interesting. She's a runaway kid whose parents didn't want her to become a shinobi for the sake of her safety. In other words, she was all on her own. Hmm. It also mentioned that she was a kind yet a very mischievous young woman. It looked like Junji had to worry about two kids and prevent them from getting any trouble, especially that redhead. She looked... very mature for her age. Even the image of the girl popping in her head caused her cheeks to go red and look away in embarrassment. With this hat on, she was lucky enough to tip it down to hide her face.

In a way, even though she didn't meet her yet, Junji somewhat saw herself in Kikyo. She had to abandon her parents, except this kid was an only child while Junji still had her brothers. She bet Kikyo was lonely deep down... nah, she couldn't be. She probably had a lot of friends. Hell, both these two had personalities where it was easy to make friends. Unlike Junji, they both seemed very social and could easily engage in conversations.

She almost envied them...

But for now, the only thing she could do was to wait patiently until the two have arrived.

Today was such a lovely day. Albeit it was under hot weather, it didn't take away the beauty the early morning had to offer. Kikyo couldn't help but smile to herself at the warmth she felt all over her body. She did, however, held her red paper umbrella above her head to protect her body from the sun. She explored the rocky plains with her usual soft smile with no problem, very excited to start a very special day. She felt so giddy she almost started to skip about. Heck, she might as well.

Shortly after her promotion to Genin, her assigned mentor, if she recalled correctly, Junji Sueno, called for a meeting between her, Kikyo, and another Genin named Kishimaro. It was strange that there wasn't a third Genin added into the group, but she was more than excited to meet her team leader and teammate. She didn't know what to expect, which was the interesting part. They could either be a friendly bunch or a grumpy group that would either need a lot of hugs, tough love, or just both.

It took her a few minutes for her to look for her sensei and her soon-to-be team member if he was already there. While doing so, she slightly undid the string on the chest area of her kimono. For the sake of her not trying to sweat in her kimono. Obvious cleavage could be seen, but Kikyo didn't find it much of an issue. After all, she was just trying to find ways to cool herself down.

Shortly afterwards, Kikyo spotted what seemed to be a woman in military uniform leaning on a boulder. She could only assume it was her sensei, Sueno. Kikyo's brows furrowed in great concern as she was worried about the woman's conditions. It was hot outside and she really thought it was acceptable to wear something so heavy? That poor creature was going to sweat to death! It looked like Kikyo had to do something about it. Approaching the other woman with light steps, she softly called out to the other woman in a formal speech.

"Excuse me, Sueno-sensei, is it?"

She paused so she could stand right in front of her so she could also be under the umbrella's shade. "Pardon me for the sudden intrusion of your private space... however it concerns me that you are wearing such heavy clothing under all of this heat." She explained. Kikyo then proceeded to grab the woman's hat by the tip and gently pull it off from her head. She then used the back of her hand that held the hat to pat it against her forehead.

Kikyo made a pout at the woman, gently shaking her head. "See? You are sweating. We do not want our sensei to pass out from dehydration. It would be such an unfortunate turn of events for a beautiful woman like you to faint in this exhausting temperature now, would be?" She said with a wink added.

It was a bold move for her to pull off something like this on someone like her own sensei, but her motherly instincts jumped out. Hopefully her sensei would see this as a friendly gesture, but if not... at least this woman would sweat less.

Crap, crap, CRAP!

Kishimaro woke up a few minutes late after sleeping in from training all day yesterday. He was pumped to witness his own promotion that motivated him to do nothing but train, train, train. He wanted to be the best like his parents; a god with the sword and a master at archery. The young boy was very determined to make his family proud, prove all of his classmates about his true potential, and make a name for his village. The poor boy was so caught up with his dreams, he forgot that he had to attend reality.

He was ordered to meet with his team in the morning for the first time. Excitement ran all over his body and nervousness thumped itself against his chest. All he really knew was that he'll be meeting two women. One would be his sensei and the other would be his teammate. Call him a lucky man for being the only boy to be in an all female squad, although he was a little curious about the third teammate. It appears as though there isn't one yet, but it was never too early for a team meeting!

Rushed footsteps padded across the fields from Kishimaro's legs, panting while his head turned about to look for his team. Damn it! Why did I train so much knowing I'm meeting my team for the first time! He scolded himself mentally. In the process, he went as far as to give him a hard smack across the face as a punishment for himself. Although he did almost stupidly made himself tumble onto the group, he managed to keep himself balanced.

With luck on his side, or so he hoped, he saw two women hanging out near a boulder. One was a white haired woman holding an umbrella whose backside was facing towards him and the other was a woman a little taller resting against the boulder. The shorter woman seemed to be checking on who he thought was the sensei to see how hot she was, judging by the way her hand was on her forehead.

A small smile crept on his lips as he began to run towards the two women, spreading his arms out wide open. Soon enough, he was behind the group and gathered them into his sweaty arms. "GROUP HUG!" He yelled with jou.
