[Canon] Ice Release: Earthen Consecutive Chains of Ice

• description ;; The user, through either physical contact or remotely, causes ice particles to form on a target in the shape of chains. When used remotely the user forms a miniature blizzard around their bodies, and anything that is touched by the particles of snow/ice that form is frozen solid, PC's and NPC's, due to being human, will become bound by the technique. If used on a living creature, the target will freeze to death unless they are able to mold chakra. By coating themselves with chakra and dedicating their energy to keeping themselves warm, they can avoid death; if they use their chakra to perform a technique, they will start to rapidly freeze again. Its usefulness in neutralizing shinobi is on par with Fire Release: Heavenly Prison.

Once this technique is activated the victim has only 3 posts before they freeze to death, but this process can be put on hold if they use all of their chakra to keep themselves warm, although if they stop doing this for any reason during a post then that post is counted as one of the three. (Example: After one post of trying to escape Shinobi begins using their chakra to keep themselves warm, bringing them to 2 posts before they freeze to death, Shinobi then stops channeling their chakra to try to escape before once again using their chakra to keep warm, bringing it down to 1 post before they freeze to death). Due to the chains of ice binding their bodies the ones caught within this technique are unable to move their bodies, thus rendering them all but helpless, but that is not all, due to the freezing temperature the victims are barely able to think straight, severely hindering their ability to properly think of a way to escape from the technique. This technique lasts until the end of a thread, and once the thread is over the victim is freed and their count is reset. Only way for the trapped party to escape is to kill the one who cast this technique, as doing so will cause the chains to fade away, but doing trying to do this can be extremely risky. The user of this technique is able to cancel it at any time.
